Job Announcement: Administrative Assistant for ITAC

Directly reporting to the Senior Health Information Technology Program Associate, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and data entry of reporting requirements for a federal grant award using Salesforce customer relations management (CRM) tool. In addition, the Administrative Assistant may also compile budget data requiring a high degree of accuracy. Candidate must be able to interact professionally and confidently with a variety of professionals. Position will also run various tracking reports using the grant tracking software. Other duties include processing expense reimbursement forms, assisting with the preparation of data required for grant reporting, and other special projects as assigned. Position also entails the preparation of materials for meetings and special events.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience with federal grants and reporting requirements
  • Exposure to health information technology is a plus
  • Experience in a health care environment, either clinical experience or health care administration
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently and ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Extensive knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences
