The California Quality Collaborative (CQC) is hosting a two-part teleconference series to help organizations understand the basics of improving the patient experience. Participants will:
· Review the literature base to understand what the research has to teach us about improving the patient experience
· Hear from an expert consultant, Jill Steinbruegge, MD, what she has learned in her previous role leading patient experience improvement at Kaiser Permanente, using a measurement-driven approach
· Hear from Diane Stewart (CQC Director) about what other California medical groups and IPAs have done to improve patient ratings
· Learn the key features and elements of an effective patient survey and feedback system.
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the key drivers of patient satisfaction
- Know the high-impact changes that have been proven to be effective by several California medical groups/IPAs
- Implement an effective feedback system for physicians
